Went back to just water on my wipes

After trying the aloe vera juice & tea tree oil, I decided to go back to just water (and the occasional tree tea oil when I think about it) in the wipes warmer.  So laziness /lack of time plus a very tight budget has won out. The aloe vera juice worked really well.  My only problem is that the juice costs quite a bit in the store and to make it is a long process.  I’m still using a little bit of Jojoba oil for diaper rash protection on a dry wipe.

However, I did just order the Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion, Concentrate. Its got great reviews and its made by a cloth diapering company so I’m hoping there won’t be any repelling issues.  Really excited to be trying it.

Hello, I came across your blog while trying to find a recipe for aloe vera juice diaper wipe solution. I’m new to cloth diapering, and the shop recommended that I mix aloe vera juice with water so I have a solution that isn’t full of the typical oils that will build up and lead to repelling in the diaper inserts. You briefly mentioned using aloe vera juice, I was wondering if you could share your recipe? I found a nice size bottle at Trader Joe’s for a decent price!

I use one part aloe vera juice, 2 parts witch hazel and 3-4 parts water. I tried nearly every other oil recipe and just had way too many problems. This works perfectly! Thanks for asking and hope you’re enjoying cloth diapering as much as I do.
