As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a huge proponent of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). But I must admit that during our move I slacked off the ACV. In fact, I hadn’t used it at all since the move until just a few days ago. I got overwhelmed with stress and the move and simply just forgot about it. Just like any habit, I created a new one of not using it.
During the move my chin broke out really bad. It hasn’t been this bad since I was in my teens or early 20’s (I went on Accutane when I was in my late 20’s and I haven’t really had a problem since). At first I figured it was just because of the stress. Then I thought it was because my skin was too dry (I had misplaced the box with all of my full size beauty products and I ran out of my travel size). No matter what, it wasn’t getting any better.
The day that I started reusing my daily face scrub (because I found the bottle), I noticed that my acne seemed to be getting better. But by the next night it was back to redness and gloom.
Interestingly, that same day I finally remembered to take ACV. Of course since I wasn’t in the habit, I didn’t remember to take it again until about 4 days later.
I noticed the next morning that my acne was getting better again. The only thing that I had done different was taking the ACV. So for the past 4 days I have been faithfully taking it and low and behold, my acne is going away!
ACV helps rid your body of toxins and helps your body to work more efficiently. Since our skin is our biggest organ it would make sense that ACV would help clear up the acne, too!
